Hi, thanks for dropping by!

To live a healthy, mindful, and happy life is to appreciate, enjoy, and be grateful for the little things. But to equally never worry about the little things, which is easier said than done. We often get wrapped up in the idea of being better. To eat better, exercise more, meditate more, expand our minds more; to just be more. Because we’re not truly living, if we’re not trying to better ourselves. But this becomes overwhelming, pressured, and toxic; to the point that you run away from the challenging things. So in my journey to be fitter, eat better, and learn more, I just started with the first step; the little step.

By taking that first step you find something that encourages you to take the next step. Then the next step, until it becomes a part of you. Finally, you realise that the best things in life are on the other side of the tough things. 

​

My goal with this blog is to share those little steps. The steps I have taken and am still taking in order to live my best life. The little steps and changes you can take to create a healthier and happier body and mind. The little steps you can take around dreamy cities, little towns, and perfect beaches. I’ll guide you to the restaurants, spots, sights, and moments that capture those places the best; always being sure to remind you to stop, and enjoy the little things.

This is nothing different.

 

There are many travel and lifestyle blogs populating the web and Instagram, so how could I add my own touch? Well, I have a nerdy passion for history. This is the perfect place for me to explore and share that. In keeping with the theme, I won’t be sharing those big moments in history, like the world wars or the uncountable revolutions. But, rather the little details, the little moments.

So come and explore your body and mind, our world, and its history. And as you read, remember that being happy with the little things can make us truly grateful for the bigger things.
